Today, more than ever, business owners and nonprofits need to have a heightened awareness of their employee and customer safety policies and procedures. In this course, we will cover: • the history of active shooter events in the US • the overall mentality, potential early warning signs, and past motives for shootings. The course will also provide an overview of: • what actions to take when confronted with an active shooter • what you can expect during law enforcement response from beginning to end • training, knowledge and equipment that can help save lives in the event of an incident.
Instructor Major Scott, an investigator at the Pamlico County Sheriff's Office, is a firearms expert instructor. Owner of Blackduck Firearms Training, he has over 3 decades of industry experience.
