Welcome to the Small Business Center (SBC) located at Blue Ridge Community College, part of the Small Business Center Network (SBCN). Blue Ridge Community College Campuses and the SBC are located in Flat Rock and Brevard, North Carolina.
  
SBCN is comprised of 58 Small Business Centers throughout North Carolina, that supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of local training, counseling, and resource information.

Local SBC training, confidential counseling, and resource information is offered at no cost due to funding from the State of North Carolina.
Services provided by the Small Business Center can be customized to suit your specific business needs. 

Each week we offer a program on starting and growing a business to answer all your question about requirements and resources offered  through the federal, state, region, county, and local cities.

How to Start a Business in 2015 Location: BRCC Henderson County Campus - Flat Rock Date: Saturday May 16, 2015 Time: 8:00am-12:00pm Building: Technology Education & Development Room: 201 Cost: Program is offered at no charge, due to sponsor support, from the State of North Carolina and Blue Ridge Community College Small Business Center. Designed for pre-start and start-up business owners that want to learn more about what resources are available and requirements through the federal, state, region, county, city, for-profit and non-profit organizations to help you start your business. Example: BRCC's Small Business Center offers one-on-one confidential business coaching, training's and referrals at no cost due to State of North Carolina funding to help NC entrepreneurs. Learn about business start-up and existing sources of money through local microloan organizations, SBA, traditional banks, angel investing, bootstrapping, etc. Learn about free legal assistance from NCLeap for those that qualify.

Note: There will be an hour lunch break with local food establishments near campus: Subway, Popular Leaf Cafe, McDonalds, Zaxby's, etc Designed for pre-start, start-up and existing business owners that want to create a business plan to manage their business or access money through through local microloan organizations, SBA, traditional banks, angel investing, bootstrapping, crowd funding, etc. Note: Class will take place in a computer lab. If you have a lap top computer you can bring it.
