Volunteer Counselor Program
Become a Volunteer Business Counselor with South Piedmont's Small Business Center and help support hopeful entrepreneurs and small businesses in your community.
Are you a successful business owner? A business professional? An MBA student?
The Small Business Center is looking for you to join its diverse team of volunteer counselors.
Become a member of our Volunteer Counseling team and assist entrepreneurs on a limited basis, either virtually or onsite at the Small Business Center. As a volunteer counselor, you will share up to 3-5 hours of time a month to advise hopeful entrepreneurs and existing business owners. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge to make an impact in the small business community while expanding your visibility and reputation locally.
If you're ready to help make a difference and strengthen the local business community, APPLY TODAY!
Once your application is received you will be contacted by the Small Business Center with additional information and to schedule a meeting with the SBC director.
Note, if you are approved to move forward as a volunteer you will need to complete and sign SPCC's Volunteer Forms and the NCCCS Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Agreement. We recommend reviewing these forms before applying.
Thank you for helping us strengthen and grow local businesses in Union and Anson Counties!
