Starting a Business?

The Small Business Center Network (SBCN) is uniquely positioned to assist you in starting your own business.  With over 60 locations statewide, you are in easy reach of experienced person-to-person assistance.

People usually make one of two major errors when they are considering opening their own business and the SBCN can help with both.  Some start a business without having an experienced business counselor review their plan to ensure that they haven’t overlooked something that will cost them time or money.  Others simply get frustrated with the entire process and abandon their dreams.

Our Small Business Counselors can help review that plan before you are bound by a loan or legal agreement.  We can also provide the direction and feedback needed to keep you on the right path to business ownership.

To get started, browse our website then contact your local SBC Director to find out what exciting seminars/workshops may be offered in your area or to take advantage of our free one-on-one counseling.
