POSTPONED - Non-Profit Taxes

Please continue to check our website for the rescheduled date.*** This hands-on workshop is intended to help nonprofits better understand the proper procedure for requesting a sales and use tax refund. The workshop will focus on the process for completing the Nonprofit and Governmental Entity Claim for Refund of State and County Sales and Use Taxes. This workshop will also discuss sales and use tax due on admission charges to charitable events. This class will also briefly cover the charitable solicitation license process through the NC Secretary of State, various payroll requirements for non-profits, and the formation/1023 process through the IRS. SBC events are free, but please register to reserve your seat. This allows us to contact you when there are changes.
