Participants in this workshop will learn about the basics of state withholding taxes, how to register for an account, and how to fill out a return. The workshop will include a discussion about when withholding is required for certain 1099 recipients. By the end of this workshop, the employer will gain a better understanding of state withholding tax requirements when hiring a new employee. Seminars offered during this time frame are fondly known as Lunch and Learns. Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch to this event. SBC events are free, but please register to reserve your seat.
