Are you thinking about starting a non-profit or are you currently working with an organization that is just getting off the ground? This workshop will offer a comprehensive checklist of things that must be done in the first three years to lay a foundation for success. Understanding key documentation and legal processes is critical to starting a non-profit organization. Non-Profit Business Owners, Prospective Non-Profit Business Owners and new Executive Directors of a non-profit body must learn the importance and procedures for establishing checklists/timelines for your non-profit with critical development milestones. It is extremely important to ensure that your organization is in compliance and can legally solicit funds at the local, state, and federal level. You will also learn to create a more realistic/competitive operating budget. Participants will walk away with resources to ensure that their organization is in compliance with state/federal laws as well as a greater understanding of the key components of development that impact sustainability.
