This is a comprehensive introduction into the food service industry. Participants will receive an introduction to the three base sectors of the industry; catering, restaurants, and food trucks. Topics will include legal requirements, operational differences, operating costs differences, and start-up costs differences between the three concepts. Menu development will be discusses and a sample start-up cost analysis for each concept will be a class study.
