With a growing need for a new generation of farmers to produce nourishing food on small sustainable farms, studies show there is money in small - acreage vegetable production! Explore what is possible from your vegetable patch, market garden or small farm. This series is designed to explore food business opportunities and provide education on how to become a successful Food Entrepreneur. This series is also to assist local farmers seeking a niche market, value - added processors and those in the food service business. Attend three (3) or the four (4) sessions offered and receive a "Food Entrepreneur" certificate of completion. Presenters will be Kathleen Bryon and Director of Good Food Sandhills, Fenton Wilkinson.
