Courts have determined that church will be held to the same standard as other nonprofit groups that work with children… Boy and Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, etc. Be sure you church leaders include all child care givers attend this seminar. You will be carefully guided on the risk issues facing the church and how the church can show “reasonable care” in preventing accidents, abuse and other issues from occurring. The presenter Sam Gore, has earned a Masters of Ministry degree with emphasis on Conflict Management, from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newberg Indiana. He is a member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians, and a Certified Risk Management Specialist, having completed 90 hours of graduate work with Cambridge University.
