The Small Business Center of Richmond Community College is pleased to offer 6 seminars that will change how you market your business in today’s changing economy. “Marketing Strategies for Growing Your Business” is a 2-day event to be held on Wednesday, September 26th and Thursday, September 27th, at The Cole Auditorium in Hamlet and The Honeycutt Center in Laurinburg. In these cutting edge seminars, you will Learn how to grow your business starting with the familiar use of Facebook, Paid Ads, and YouTube. We will also cover recent developments in Online Marketing such as Messenger Bots, and Systems and Funnels. We will also cover the best ways of selling products on Amazon and Etsy. Matt Rudisill and his partner Scott Mosteller will be your guides through navigating the latest marketing tools. Matt is the owner and lead trainer of The Leadership Academy, which has helped business owners and prospective entrepreneurs get to where they want to go. They have worked with thousands of businesses over the last 20 years and have helped launch over 100 companies. Matt is currently working as a business consultant to several startup companies and spends a great deal of time teaching social media principals to business owners. Day 1: The Cole Auditorium, Hamlet, NC 11:30pm-1:00pm: Marketing your Business Online (Lunch and Learn) - Lunch Provided In this seminar, participants will learn the basics of setting up a Facebook business page as well as information about promotions, advertisements, and making a huge impact for your business online. 3:00pm – 5:00pm: Paid Ads – Facebook and Google AdWords In this seminar, participants will learn about different options to advertise your business using online resources. These options are often easier and much less expensive than traditional advertising. We will discuss social media advertising through major platforms such as Facebook and Instagram as well as Google Ad-words and other options. 6:00pm – 8:00pm: Growing Your Business with Bots and Automation The use of artificial intelligence to automate tasks and have conversations with humans is a now an option for small business owners. This allows you to assist customers by building stronger relationships, delivering targeted content, and anticipating user reactions, while not getting tired or emotional in our correspondence. You will learn why and how you can employ this technology to grow your business. 8:00pm – 8:30pm: Questions and Answers Day 2: Downtown Laurinburg The AB Gibson Center and The Honeycutt Center 11:30pm-1:00pm: Expanding Your Business Reach with Systems and Funnels (Lunch and Learn) - Lunch Provided A marketing funnel is a framework that businesses use to turn prospects into customers, while using systems throughout the process to attract and keep them. From growing your downtown marketplace to scaling your multi-million-dollar business, a well-developed plan can keep you moving forward in good and bad times. In this class, you will learn why and how you can develop systems to give your business the edge you need to succeed. 3:00pm – 5:00pm: Using YouTube and Video to Reach Your Customers Are you interested in spreading the message of your business with a platform that your customers are already using? More and more people are turning to YouTube for their information, news, and entertainment. Your business should have a presence there as well. In this seminar, you will learn how to get started with video marketing, how to make good quality videos with the tools you already have, setting up and promoting your YouTube channel, and spreading your message to your customers with a simple and easy to use method. 6:00pm – 8:00pm: Selling Product on Amazon and Etsy Two of the most active and popular selling platforms – Amazon and Etsy can be vital for your business if you want to sell products online. These gateways will allow the seller an opportunity to reach the masses. In this seminar, we discuss how to be an active seller and develop your own storefront without the expenses of rent, maintenance, and employees. 8:00pm – 8:30pm: Questions and Answers
