This hands-on session will help small business owners identify their target markets. It will also explore how consumer behavior such as how they spend, what they spend, why they spend, and their lifestyle influences; can affect your business and marketing efforts. It will also cover market segmentation to unlock potential target markets. Finally, it will review identifying direct and indirect competitors, how to conduct a SWOT Analysis, and creating a niche for your product.
Speaker(s): Renae Simon Renae has over 15 years’ experience in business consulting, marketing and advertising, facilities management, special events management, and sales. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. She is also a graduate of the REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship Action Learning) Institute and is a licensed facilitator of the course. Renae has been a resident in the Piedmont/Triad for over a decade. She is a woman of faith and the proud mom of one son, Quarry. She loves to help others and is an active member of her church and community. Her greatest joy comes from helping people succeed and pursue their dreams in life, family, and work.
