Don't let the process writing a grant scare you away from potential funding. This basic 3-hour course is designed to encourage and build confidence of current and potential nonprofit leaders concerning the process of grant writing. If you're looking for a place to begin, or you want to investigate what is involved the grant writing process, this seminar is for you. Bring your board members, or potential board members, directors and volunteers. Issues covered during our time together will include... 1. Planning; deciding what type of grant is needed 2. Preparation; gathering al the information needed to include in a grant __________________________________ A certificate of completion may be available for attendance of 15 or more hours of non-profit training. A non-profit training course is offered on the following dates: January 21, February 18, March 17, April 20, April 21, May 19. Please contact the Small Business Center for more information and to verify certificate requirements.
