Wix Web Design: Part 1 (In Person)
Each course is handpicked and designed to help you, as a business owner, grow your skills and knowledge. Presenters for each workshop are reputable speakers who understand the plights of small business owners and aim to share tips, information, and skills to help your business succeed. This course is intended to help you navigate the challenges and opportunities of owning your own business. More specifically, after participating in this workshop, attendees will: 1. Introduce WIX and how it compares with other ways of creating a webpage. 2. Look at how the internet works with webpages, internet servers and webpage hosts. 3. Define why Domains are important and find out what they can name their site and why. 4. Talk about their pricing structure and what they need to get started. 5. Explore what they want their site to do and what they want it to look like. 6. Explore some WIX sites others have created and use. 7. Compare the benefits of various templates 8. Look around the internet at sites like theirs to get a clearer idea of what they plan to do. 9. Start familiarizing ourselves with the WIX interface. 10. Work with the Menu options, Headers and Footers. 11. Add backgrounds and experiment with Global formatting. 12. Learn to add photos and format the page around graphics. 13.
