Being over 50 years old has great benefits for those who want to start their own business. If you have an idea, passion, skill or hobby that you’re wondering“how do I turn this into a small business?” this 5-week, 5 session class is for you. We’ll discuss why this is a great time in your life to become an “encore”entrepreneur; how to evaluate your idea to determine if it could become a profitable business; share principles to help you develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and communicate tips and proven methods for taking those first steps towards entrepreneurship. Guest speakers will join us to share their journey into entrepreneurship. This class is the result of a collaboration with AARP Mountain Region, NC.
