Would you build a house without a blueprint? Why would you start a business and risk your time, money and reputation to chance? This webinar covers the the proprietary "BYOB2 Business Blueprint" process. ("BYOB2" = "Build Your Own Business. Be Your Own Boss.") Most businesses do not need a 60 page business plan that requires an MBA plus an attorney and CPA on retainer. But they do need a plan. Developed by Kent Hill and other experienced entrepreneurs, the BYOB2 Business Blueprint focuses you on the critical fundamentals to 1) determine if your business idea is viable; 2) how much it will probably take to start it; and 3) how much money you might be able to make. We will skip the "fluffy stuff" like "Mission" and "Values" and get to the most important questions (and answers)... 'Does anyone want to pay for what your company is offering?'; 'Are there enough of them to sustain a business?'; 'Are they willing to pay a price that makes it worthwhile (i.e., profitable) for you?' We will also briefly cover the traditional business plan format for those rare startups that might be able to get some seed capital.

Speaker(s): Kent Hill: Director, FTCC Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Small Business

This is a WORKshop... not just a webinar for 'information transfer'. Yes, you'll get a lot of information, and some very useful tools to help you do a legitimate business plan, but you will have to do the thinking, research, deciding and writing to make this plan (and your business) a reality.
