BLK BIZ SUMMIT Session 2: Funding in the Black

Do you know of the lending institutions with Black Leadership and/or Founders that support small businesses? Have you done business with black financial institutions? In this session, participants will learn about funding opportunities by Black lending institutions (Banks, CDFI, Investors). Nationally, there are 32 Black-Owned Banks and credit unions, approximately 71 Black-Led Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI’s), and approximately 5 Black Founded small business Investment firms. In NC, there is 1 black-owned banks and 3 black-led CDFI's. This session will share 5 steps for successful small business funding.
