Schedule: Zoom, 7 sessions @1.5 hours each + 1 wrap up session Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., March 1 – April 12, 2023; wrap up April 19, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. 1st Class: You and your business including the legal process for choosing a business structure, name registration; business plan development & your market 2nd Class: The must-haves including the technical aspects of capturing leads, developing leads into prospects, and converting prospects to long-term customers. Business solicitation methods which includes email lists, customer data gathering, database setup, available software will be discussed. Topics include customer list management, record setup are discussed along with financial topics such as bookkeeping systems, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, ecommerce payment methods, etc. 3rd & 4th Classes: Content development and all the areas SBOs need to write. This includes storyboards, website design, web hosting, SEO strategy, vlogs, social media presence, grant applications, responding to RFPs, marketing collateral development for print and electronic, etc. 5th Class: New product and/or service development based on surveys and test marketing; sourcing, procurement, production process; pricing methods will be discussed. 6th Class: Delivery including packaging, shipping, communication, service delivery, evaluation; logistics 7th Class: Promoting your products and services including branding, advertising, channel management & omnichannel marketing, integrated marketing communication, online ads including social media and other paid ads; developing a 12-month promotions calendar. 8th Class: Wrap Up
