Topic: Start-up Assistance

This two-day seminar will provide participants with an introduction to business ownership and guide them through the start-up process. Topics include: entrepreneurship assessment, business feasibility, the business plan, understanding your market, business legal structure, and sources of funding. Participants will be provided with a number of resources and tools to compliment the training topics. *This is a special program offered by the Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense in cooperation with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and New River Air Station for active duty military, veterans, and their immediate family members only. To attend, you must bring with you to class a military ID or a DD214. Training will take place at the Coastal Carolina Community College Small Business Center.

Participants should be: 1) Dressed in civilian attire 2) Bring with them their military ID or DD214, a pen and paper, and an electronic device which can be connected to the internet i.e. cell phone, laptop, iPad, etc.
