Selling to the Federal Government for the Veteran-Owned Small Business - Online Webinar
This event has been canceled
This webinar is an introduction to doing business with the federal government with a focus on Veterans and Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses. Topics include levels of federal purchasing; how the federal government buys products, construction and engineering and non-personal services; marketing a business to the federal government; socio-economic small business programs; registering as a federal contractor; locating, identifying and responding to federal business opportunities; and resources available to assist federal contractors in North Carolina. Small businesses owned by veterans can compete for set-aside contracts at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA also sets aside contracting opportunities for businesses owned by veterans who are service-disabled, with a goal of awarding at least 3% of all federal contracting dollars to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) each year. This webinar explains how to certify a business for SDVOSB status and compete for set-aside contract at many federal agencies.
