Small Business Essentials From The NC Department of Revenue and Secretary of State

Representatives from the NC Department of Revenue and the NC Secretary of State office will present Business Essentials, which businesses operating in North Carolina need to understand in order to comply with state laws and regulations. The session covers the basics of tax compliance, ranging from registering your business with the Department of Revenue to withholding taxes for employees and sales and use tax requirements. The program also covers how to register your business entity with the Secretary of State’s office. A question and answer session will complete this program.
