This presentation is planned as an overview of investment crowdfunding for businesses that may want to utilize this option. A representative of N.C. Secretary of State, Securities Division, will cover the following: a regulatory overview and how crowdfunding fits within securities laws; the legal do’s and don’ts of a crowdfunding offering; the marketing aspects – what you can say and how to reach investors; and utilizing a website intermediary – picking one and connecting with investors.
