Postponed - Non-Profit Taxes with the Department of Revenue

**Due to low participation, Non-Profit Taxes with the Department of Revenue, has been postponed to Thursday, October 4, from 4:00-6:00pm.** The NC Department of Revenue will host a workshop for certain nonprofits that qualify for a refund of sales & use taxes paid. This hands-on workshop is intended to help nonprofits better understand the proper procedure for requesting a sales and use tax refund. The workshop will focus on the process for completing the Nonprofit and Governmental Entity Claim for Refund of State and County Sales and Use Taxes. This workshop will also discuss sales and use tax due on admission charges to charitable events. SBC events are free, but please register to reserve your seat. This allows us to contact you when there are changes. Location: Wayne West Building, Room 317
