WE Technology Sharing Group

Via the moderator or other participants, members of this online group will explore and share various social media and online business technology tools, apps, and improvements to such that create efficiencies in business marketing and operations.

This recurring group meeting will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM on the second Monday of each month.

Meeting Agenda & Expectations

The SBC at Edgecombe Community College will host the meeting during odd months (e.g., January, March, May, etc.), and the SBC at Wilson Community College will host the meeting during even months (e.g., February, April, June, etc.).

• The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 PM and will last for only one hour.
• To minimize disruptions, participants should sign in a few minutes early if they want to chat with others before the moderator begins the meeting. Those who join the meeting late are asked to mute upon entry.
• Once the meeting begins, the moderator will remind participants to remain muted until the floor is open and to introduce themselves by posting their business information in the chat. Please be aware that this online learning community is not a marketing forum for your business where you sell your services/products.
• When acknowledged by the moderator, participants may unmute themselves and speak about what they hope to learn during the meeting and announce if they have a tip to share.
• The moderator and/or volunteer presenter will then teach a specific subject, and participants can collectively discuss their needs and experiences.
• Before the meeting concludes, the moderator will ask participants to share one action they plan to take as a result of what they learned during the meeting.

NOTE: Participants will only need to register ONE TIME with the Wilson SBC in order to attend any of the twelve (12) meetings. After completing the SBC registration, participants should receive a confirmation email from centeric@centeric.ncsbc.net that includes two Zoom links for the second part of the registration process. Participants who do not receive the confirmation message in their inbox should check their junk/spam folder. In order to receive the video conferencing login information and guarantee a spot for the meetings, participants must also register via the Zoom platform.
