During this webinar, you will be guided through setting up a Wix website for your business. Simple websites, which can be free, provide information, display pictures, and offer contact forms so customers can reach you. You will also learn how to use the website to make appointments and/or to sell products which will include how to set up a button so that this extra feature can be used. (Note: Websites that accept payments cost about $25/month.) Attendees who wish to execute the website set-up steps during the webinar may wish to set up an account with Wix and purchase the domain prior to participating; however, watching this webinar and the Squarespace webinar on June 4th before making a decision regarding which platform you will want to use is also an option. Of course, if you are logged in, you will need a second device for the webinar participation. Content for the website and pictures can be stored in advance on your electronic device (flash drive) to be used in class if the pace allows for this.
