Main Street Entrepreneur Accelerator Week 4: Financial Projections & Business Loan Roadmap

Registration for this session is for week 4 of 5 in the Main Street Entrepreneur Accelerator (MSEA).

The Main Street Entrepreneurs Accelerator (MSEA) program is a training and pitch competition for student entrepreneurs and small business owners in Wake County, aimed at accelerating business growth. Funded by the Conlon Venture Fund and Mike Conlon, President/Owner of Affordable Communities Group, LLC, and a Wells Fargo grant, the program's goal is to reduce barriers and provide education so that entrepreneurs achieve greater, more sustainable success with their existing businesses.

Wake County small business owners and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch for awards from $2,500 to $20,000 and student entrepreneurs can pitch for awards from $2,500 to $8,000 to help accelerate their business growth.

Any small business owner in Wake County is eligible to participate in the training.

Week 4: During this session you will learn the steps to complete your business financial projections (also known as your pro-forma). You’ll learn about your business cash flow and how to plan based on financial cycles you will see in your business. You will also be given a roadmap of how to plan for future funding for your business as many businesses eventually get some type of funding to help them scale their business.

Learning outcomes: Complete financial forecast projections to share with your counselor. Understand cash flow and how to monitor. Complete the self-evaluation for future funding needs.
