Registration for this session is for week 3 of 5 in the Main Street Entrepreneur Accelerator (MSEA).

The Main Street Entrepreneurs Accelerator (MSEA) program is a training and pitch competition for student entrepreneurs and small business owners in Wake County, aimed at accelerating business growth. Funded by the Conlon Venture Fund and Mike Conlon, President/Owner of Affordable Communities Group, LLC, and a Wells Fargo grant, the program's goal is to reduce barriers and provide education so that entrepreneurs achieve greater, more sustainable success with their existing businesses.

Wake County small business owners and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch for awards from $2,500 to $20,000 and student entrepreneurs can pitch for awards from $2,500 to $8,000 to help accelerate their business growth.

Any small business owner in Wake County is eligible to participate in the training.

Week 3: Setting goals for your business is an important step as a business owner. Knowing how to get to those goals is crucial to your success. During this session you will learn some of the basic rules of pricing, you will set a financial goal for the next 12 months of your business and then use a provided calculator to calculate how many customers you need in order to reach that goal, pay yourself, and create a sustainable business. You’ll also explore how to tell the story of what makes your business unique for your customers.

Learning outcomes: Learn how to price your product or service. Calculate your revenue and how many customers you need in order to pay yourself and reach your revenue goals. Clearly articulate the value that you bring to your customers.
