This course is designed for those looking to launch small scale food businesses and will cover a wide range of topics aimed at getting you started.

In this seminar, we’ll cover:

  • Legal questions such as the permits you might need, commercial kitchen space, and insurance;
  • For product makers, how to scale your recipe for larger production, and different selling and distribution options;
  • Financial considerations such as how much does it cost to start and what are reasonable expectations for how much money your business can make;
  • Key marketing strategies to make sure you have customers from day one, and how to maintain enough customers to sustain your business long term.
