Day at a Glance: Session 1: 9:30-10:45 AM- How to Start Selling Your Work on Shopify Shopify is an e-commerce platform that allows anyone to set up an online store and sell products. It is now the leading e-commerce platform designed for all sized businesses. If you sell online, on social media, in a store, or out of the trunk of your car, Shopify has you covered in each situation. So whether you're opening a new online store or are interested in using Shopify as your e-commerce platform, you can find out more information about your options in this session.

Session 2: 9:30-10:45 AM- Boost Your Social Media By Engaging Followers & Friends Engagement is one of the metrics social media uses to determine whether your content shows up in your followers' feeds. When your followers consistently comment and like your posts, social media sees it as a sign that they want to see more of your content. Building an audience that engages will lead to more followers and more sales.

This session will discuss 5 important steps to discovering if entrepreneurship is right for you.

Session 6: 12:45-2:00 PM- How to Price Your Work There are many factors that go into making your business profitable, but one of the key components is having a clear understanding of what your product actually costs you to make and then pricing it effectively. This session will look into this complicated issue for every creative entrepreneur and help you analyze the numbers and get you on the path to making money!

Session 7: 2:15-3:30 PM- Top Instagram Strategies For Your Business In this seminar, you will learn TOP strategies that businesses and entrepreneurs are using TODAY that will help you grow your Instagram followers and take your audience engagement to the next level! Learn the BEST types of photos, videos, and content to post, as well as additional tips and strategies to make you look like a Pro! Don't miss this information-packed class that is sure to take your Instagram Marketing to the NEXT level!

Session 8: 2:15-3:30 PM- *Preparing Your Artist Business for a Small Business Loan Looking for funds to start, grow, or maintain your creative business? Funding can come from a variety of sources, and the Western Women’s Business Center is here to help - LEARN how to plan for the business loan that you need. Whether you’re a start-up business or you’re interested in expanding your business, this workshop is here to guide you through the process to secure a business loan.
