This is a hands-on course that develops entrepreneurial knowledge and skills by participating in classroom exercises that represent real life business topics, some of which include: Self-assessment, goal setting, economic development, creating a business idea, marketing, business operations, cash flow, break-even analysis, income statements, legal structures, financing options and the business plan. The course introduces the student to all aspects of a business plan to help them with the process of planning and operating a small business. The class meets on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for six weeks.
