Tue 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Topic: Business Basics

From the onset of the creation of a business name, it is important from the trademark perspective to determine whether that name is viable. The name may be already in use or it may be too descriptive; it may also be weak and therefore difficult to protect. This presentation will help you understand the risks of not undertaking a proper trademark clearance and the benefits it will derive from trademark and copyright registration.

This webinar will focus on: What can be trademarked How to determine if your trademark is available for use The trademark process What can be protected by Copyright Law The copyright process A comparison of copyrights and trademarks

This will be a live webinar presented through Zoom. Meeting and access information for this webinar will be available upon registration. We highly recommended logging-in to this meet at least five minutes prior to the start time. If you have any questions before the seminar, contact the Bladen SBC at 910879-5572 or tlyden@bladencc.edu
