“Business Analytics and Search Engine Optimization Basics” Part 1 (online)

For today’s small businesses owner, competing in a global economy requires strong soft and technical skills. Exposure to emerging technologies such as Business Analytics and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) equips them to quickly gather, analyze, and utilize big data to drive marketing, sales, and decision making. The Richmond Community College Small Business Center is pleased to offer a three-part series entitled, “Business Analytics and Search Engine Optimization Basics”.

Part 1: What is Business Analytics and Search Engine Optimization?

In part one we will answer, "What is SEO and how can it drive sales and marketing?" You will learn about using Keyword Planner to obtain a list of relevant keywords to optimize your business web traffic. The importance of understanding and using Google Trends to drive marketing campaigns will also be covered.
