Small Business Website Design for Beginners-Session 2

Topic: Marketing and Sales

In this session of the website design process, you will get some hands-on practice! In this course, students will set up their WIX accounts and practice on a template provided by the instructor to learn how to conduct several tasks and functions within the WIX platform. We will walk through step-by-step instructions on how to add and change text, pictures, videos, headers, footers, add and delete pages, manage design elements on the template and much more. This course will be held in a computer lab. Basic computer literacy is required. Students completing all 4 sessions will receive a certificate of completion from the Richmond CC Small Business Center. Our Principle Instructor, Renae Simon, has over 15 years’ experience in business consulting, marketing and advertising, facilities management, special events management, and sales. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. She is also a graduate of the REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship Action Learning) Institute and is a licensed facilitator of the course.
