Topic: Managing a Business

Cybersecurity in a small business is no longer just the responsibility of those “IT People.” In fact, cybersecurity is no longer just a department within an organization; it is now a set of principles. As consumers of technology equipment and services, we all assume the role of “Digital Citizens”. In this session, you will learn to protect proprietary information on the job, using principles established by the National Security Agency (NSA). The best defense against a cyber-attack is a well-informed Digital Citizen!!! Speaker Jeffries Epps, is the CEO/Founder of the STEMERALD City Learning Center. Mr. Epps has worked in public education for 26 years, serving in various Information Technology leadership roles. As an IT leader, he has participated on several leadership committees and Advisory Boards throughout the country. Mr. Epps received the White House Champions of Change Award for Tech Inclusion in 2013 for his work as the founder of Globally Ready Engineering and Technology (G.R.E.AT.)
