Are you thinking of starting your own small business? Are you ready to take that hobby to the next level? Is it time to see how feasible that great idea really is? Have you found a need in your industry or community that a new company could fill? This hands-on seminar is the perfect starting point to exploring entrepreneurship as a career option. Through hands on exercises we will focus on highlighting the multiple components of small business ownership that should be considered before opening your doors. These topics include: accessing your entrepreneurship readiness level, exploring how to be financially prepared, and developing a plan to get started. Renae Simon has over 15 years’ experience in business consulting, marketing and advertising, facilities management, special events management, and sales. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. She is also a graduate of the REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship Action Learning) Institute and is a licensed facilitator of the course. Renae has been a resident in the Piedmont/Triad for over a decade. She is a woman of faith and the proud mom of one son, Quarry. She loves to help others and is an active member of her church and community. Her greatest joy comes from helping people succeed and pursue their dreams in life, family, and work.
