Room 307. Registration Required. Setting up and managing a nonprofit organization is very different from a for-profit business. There are literally millions of dollars available through both government and private agencies and foundations for non-profit entities. Identifying those that might apply to your specific business is important. Understanding and following their individual requirements, however, are essential to successful presentations. This seminar is designed to explain and prepare you not only for setting up a nonprofit business, but also for the grant proposal process. Anyone new to the grant writing process should attend this seminar. Ed Ormsby has been providing counseling and consulting services to small business owners for over twenty years. He has held virtually every sales, marketing and executive management position with Fortune 500, mid-sized and small businesses throughout the Southeast. He has been a small business developer and owner for over twenty years. Ed's passion for helping others is apparent in the way he conducts his seminars as well as in his personal life. His presentation style is informal and engaging, encouraging participants to interact throughout.
