Attendees will gain information about proper business structures, potential legal issues, licensing, zoning, and operations. Learn the importance of a self-assessment and how to evaluate the feasibility of your business idea. Discover resources available to help start, finance, and successfully operate your business. MORE ABOUT MAYLAND SBC ENTREPRENEURSHIP CERTIFICATE CLASSES: Attend one class or all six! In this series, learn how to be a successful entrepreneur. SBC business professionals and guest presenters will increase your business savvy by providing current and applicable information. Upon completion of all six classes, participants will receive a certificate from the Mayland Small Business Center which is a great document to include in a business plan. Completion of the Mayland Small Business Center Entrepreneurship Certificate is a requirement to apply for MAY Coaliton micro-startup loans and Entrepreneurial Assistance Grants in Spruce Pine and Burnsville.
