Plenary Session #1- Unleashing the Power of AI for Nonprofits Using ChatGPT Artificial intelligence for nonprofits is game-changing. There are amazing things that ChatGPT can do to help your organization, but it does have its limitations. This tool does not replace the human touch and should have some heavy oversight, but it remains an incredible artificial intelligence tool for nonprofits! This session will discuss all the amazing things it can do like provide data points, make predictions, and manage other time-consuming tasks.

Session #2- Lead Your Nonprofit With Passion and a Plan Without good leadership, an organization will fall apart. But leading and growing a nonprofit takes more than passion- you need patience, persistence, planning and a whole list of other skills. What does “leadership” really mean and why is it so important to your organization? Discuss what it takes to be a good leader and how to identify your leadership skills. You’ll learn about the qualities of great leaders, what motivates people and common mistakes that leaders sometimes make. Leave with a better understanding of how to recruit leaders, create leaders and BE a leader!

Session #3- Breaking the Content Barrier- How to Build Strong Social Media Content Creating new social media content sounds easy, but continuously generating new posts can be difficult. Because social media is a common way to interact, share information and connect to organizations and causes, it has become essential for non-profits to prioritize their social media strategy. This session will cover some tips on how to create engaging online content that will help you connect with your intended audience.

Session #4- Fundraising Through Relationship Building Building relationships with funders and donors is a critical part of fundraising and ultimately being able to achieve your organizations mission. Strong connections and good relationships help you set the stage for a lifetime of giving. Ignore the importance of those relationships, however, and your donors may become loyal givers elsewhere. This session will explore simple and inexpensive ways to create connections and relationships with your funders and donors that will increase giving.

Session #5- Substack, Medium, Quora, and other Newsletter and Blog Platforms The goal of nonprofit newsletters and blogs is to turn your readers into volunteers and donors by engaging them with regular news, updates, and calls-to-action. When executed well, blogs and newsletters can increase traffic and engagement with your online presence, garner more support and more widely publicize your cause. There are many different platforms available, and this session will help you determine which one is best for you!

  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM : Pick Your Session

Session #6- Leveraging Community Partnerships to Maximize Impact Being a strong community partner is an important role for all non-profits. Think about how much we’re able to accomplish simply by working together. Particularly, in the health and social service fields, partnerships are most successful when they work toward shared goals for delivering practical solutions to community issues. This session will discuss how to maximize your impact by effectively collaborating with partners. Learn how to be a good partner and do your part while also being able to leverage your best partners and reap the benefit of their efforts.

Session #7- Social Media for Nonprofits; Platforms, Audiences and Choosing Your Focus Area Marketing your nonprofit can feel super time-consuming or even off-putting when you're just trying to write a grant, work on a budget or lead a great cause to benefit your community. But it doesn't have to! Join this session to learn about how to make social media work for your mission. Done well, social media can feed your creativity, help you build a true community, and kickstart your fundraising goals!
