This one day, multi-session workshop is designed for the current and prospective small business owner that is interested in creating or strengthening your business plan. During this workshop, attendees will walk through each section of the business plan, key strategies for development and leave with a greater understanding of the resources available to assist you with the business planning process. Bring your idea and/or your business plan and join a team of business experts as we develop business plans worthy of competition. Sessions will include: Introduction to the Business Plan, 9 - 11am An introductory look into concept feasibility and the Business Plan. During this session current and prospective small business owners will begin to address: Mission and Vision, Products and Services, Management and Organization, and Operations. Customers, Industry, and Strategy, 11:30am - 1:30pm During this session current and prospective small business owners will begin to look into the market plan as we address the market, industry, competition and strategy behind the business plan. Attendees will learn about resources and tools to assist in the development of market and industry related data. Financing & Financials, 2:00 - 4:00pm Dig into the financing and financial projections of the business plan. In this session attendees will learn more about key financial statements, the story they tell about your business and resources for development and analysis. Financing continues to be a challenge for many small business owners. In this session we will also explore the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of funding sources.
