Business Taxes and Covid-19

What your small business needs to know about taxes and Covid-19. A registration link will be sent a few days prior to event. This webinar, offered by the N.C. Department of Revenue (NCDOR) in partnership with the Small Business Center Network (SBCN), provides information on how COVID-19 may impact your tax obligations. The webinar will cover coronavirus-related tax relief and NCDOR’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, the 2019 state tax filing deadline for individual, corporate, and franchise taxes was moved to July 15, 2020 to mirror the federal Internal Revenue Service deadline. The topics covered include: • Extensions to file and pay certain taxes • Available services and support • Affected tax schedules • Options for taxpayers who cannot pay by July 15 Pre-registration is required. Online Web Ex registrants will be emailed the access information 24 hours before the training session.
