Thu 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Topic: Nonprofit

Writing the grant is the easy part. Getting everything ready before you start writing is the key to success. In the Getting Grant Ready series students will learn, in detail, about the different sections of typical grant applications and how to prepare for award-winning grant applications. When reviewing grants, funders want to know how an organization is going to address an issue and how it will know when they’ve reached success. In this session, students will learn and put into practice how to plan and communicate their program strategies clearly to funders. Also, students will learn how to create a plan for measuring progress and success. This session will include interactive learning, examining samples, and peer review work sessions.
