Hosting a successful business event in Onslow County is very possible when you know what to do and how to do it! Come to this session where we will discuss timelines for planning your event; establishing event goals; determining the structure of your next event; possible locations you could host your event; how to create an event budget and what items should be included; what you need to know about permits/insurance for your event; how to obtain and manage event volunteers; how to get the word out about your event; how to conduct post-event evaluation to properly calculate your return on investment.

This session of training is offered during the monthly Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council Meeting. You do not have to be a member of the council, or the chamber of commerce, to attend this training. This session will take place at the Jacksonville-Onslow Chamber of Commerce Building and is open to the public. Training starts at 9:00 AM and concludes at 10:00 AM. Meeting business will begin immediately after training is over. Total time of meeting is 1.25 hours.
