Mecklenburg County is a partnership in bring this workshop in an effort to educate small business owners on access to capital and on how to do business with Mecklenburg County. Lack of capital is the number one reason businesses fail. This workshop will cover eligibility criteria and risk management factors to address when applying for a business loan. Attendees will learn about the 5C’s of credit, the Charlotte Community Capital Fund, and factors that influence a lender’s decision process. The seminar is designed to help small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs understand how to access credit and capital for their businesses. The workshop seminar will cover The Support Center’s loan programs and provide details about its lending criteria and application process.
