Each seminar will be held on Tuesdays from November 7-21, 2017. Marketing is an activity that leads you to promote your business in order to sell your product or service. When you decide what services to offer, what products to sell, what price to ask, where and how to sell them, and how to promote them, you are marketing. Your strategy is your means of doing something to get the word out about your business. Depending on the type and size of your farm, and whether you are farming full or part time, you have several options for how to market your operation. What and how does that look like? This series is designed for agricultural businesses to take a look at the following marketing areas: 1) Direct Marketing: Where to Meet Your Customers & Keep Them; 2) Marketing Your Agricultural Business Through Networking; and 3) Get Your Agricultural Business on Facebook. This series is designed to be an in-depth look at marketing strategies for agricultural business owners.
